What MyHRM pairs with
MyHRM behaves like a generic Bluetooth Low Energy heart-rate monitor. If a device pairs a Bluetooth HR sensor, it should see MyHRM.
No ANT+. MyHRM broadcasts over Bluetooth Low Energy only. Devices that can only use ANT+ heart-rate sensors will not detect it.
One head unit at a time. Bluetooth heart-rate sensors normally connect to a single device. Disconnect “MyHRM” from one head unit or app before pairing it with another.

Garmin Edge — not recommended
Older generations that emphasise ANT+ or phone Bluetooth over standard BLE sensor pairing. MyHRM does not broadcast ANT+.
| Device | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Edge 520 / 520 Plus | Not recommended | Older documentation emphasises ANT+ sensor pairing or phone Bluetooth. |
| Edge 820 | Not recommended | Older generation; verify Bluetooth sensor support before relying on MyHRM. |
| Edge 1000 and older | Not recommended | Older generation; MyHRM does not broadcast ANT+. |
Wahoo — expected compatible

Wahoo — needs validation
| Device | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Wahoo app on a second iPhone or iPad | Needs validation | Must run on a separate device, because the MyHRM iPhone is the one advertising. |
| Wahoo SYSTM on iPad, Mac or Apple TV | Needs validation | Should work if it accepts a standard Bluetooth HRM and “MyHRM” is not connected elsewhere. |
| ELEMNT MINI | Needs validation | Older and more limited; verify with physical testing. |
Not applicable
These are not head units scanning for a heart-rate sensor, or they play the same broadcaster role as MyHRM.
| Device | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| KICKR trainers / KICKR BIKE / KICKR CORE | Not applicable | Trainer peripherals, not head units scanning for a heart-rate sensor. |
| KICKR HEADWIND | Not recommended | Wahoo documents Wahoo TICKR / ANT+ control paths; MyHRM is BLE-only and not a TICKR. |
| ELEMNT RIVAL | Not applicable | RIVAL also broadcasts heart rate, so both devices are in the same BLE role. |
“Expected compatible” means the device supports Bluetooth sensor pairing but we haven't validated it directly yet. If you test MyHRM with your own gear, please send a compatibility report — it helps everyone.
